You can download the latest version of the Microsoft NET Framework on Microsoft’s official website. In addition to NET Framework without which the Low Specs Experience won’t work, you will need WinRAR and/or 7-Zip or any other archive managing software that can extract the highly compressed installation archive.
Low Specs Experience optimizations are always built on the latest version of the game but are compatible (most of the time) with all game versions. Low Specs Experience will work with all game versions, including Steam, Origin, Uplay, Battle NET, DRM-FREE and cracked versions, you name it. Some games, however, may be prone to the incompatibility issues, but this happens rarely and the support is getting extended as soon as the users report that such issues exist.
Low Specs Experience is an auto-optimization tool designed to optimize your favorite games for maximum possible performance. With three (and five on select titles) optimization methods, the Low Specs Experience will ensure that you get the maximum possible performance on various hardware specifications.

This is a guide to improve /boost the performance of Assasin’s Creed Unity, such as frame rate, and reduce lag issues. Especially for those who owns a middle-end class computer or laptop. For gamer who owns a medium-end laptop such as Nvidia GeForce 730M, AMD Radeon R5 M230 and below. The frame rate is unacceptable, except that if you enjoy playing it in slow mo, where character constantly skipping time, and die suddenly. Even though you have your game already updated to version 1.04, the game is still pretty unplayable. Then, this guide may help you.

2. Update your Game to the Latest Version
By doing this, It has only a little impact on the performance, but it still worth the trouble , if you want extra 1 to 5 FPS increase. It recommended to get all the updates and install one by one, such as v1.01 -> v1.02 -> v1.03 -> v1.04, instead of just v1.04. Normally, if you got a steam version, it is already updated. If you do not get it from steam, there are plenty of websites(Google Search) offer third party downloads.
3. Get a Game Booster
Game booster shuts down unnecessary background processes for faster and smoother game-play. I recommend RAZER CORTEX: GAME BOOSTER. Which stops automatically most unnecessary processes from window processes and others application processes.
Here is the link for RAZER CORTEX: GAME BOOSTER.

You just need to register an account and register, then you can use it for free, the good news is you do have to own a Razer product to use it.
4. Change the Aspect Ratio from 16:9 to 4:3
Install cricut driver. If the game is still unplayable, your character is skipping time. Then, you can change the aspect ratio from 16:9 to 4:3, and set a lower graphic resolution. This has significant impact on the frame rate, but it looks super ugly, Guaranteed. This game is a little weird as well, because changes in Graphic settings has only a little impact on the performance of game, It means that it doesn’t matter if you changed it from low to high or ultra, the FPS also remained, but changing the resolution does. Set aspect ratio from 16:9 to 4:3 and get a lower resolution. It will look very bad and ugly (Guaranteed Again), but there is a trick,Switch on stretching, then the game will look a lot better and smoother.
This was my Setup (Testing this Game)
Model :DELL Inspiron 5421.
Processor: Intel i5 3337U
Graphic card: Nvidia 730m (without Overclock)
Ram: 8GB
OS: Window 8.1
This may drop to 15-17 fps, when the character is in crowded area, try to avoid dense area. Stay in Stealth mode.
Last squeeze, You maybe able to get better fps, if you change the Texture Setting from high to medium, AA disable, and a lower resolution.
